Scarless was commissioned by curator Jane Withers for Brompton Design District. Assembled and disassembled within the same day throughout the course of London Design Festival and in three different public spaces (Thurloe Square, South Kensington Station and Exhibition Road), the objective was to prove the simplicity and the strength of this abnormal construction method. The result were 3 lightweight architectural structures made with minimal materials: gaffer tape and plywood sheets. Conceived as a nomadic pavilion, this is a further development of La Chabola originally commissioned by Concéntrico – International Architecture and Design Festival of Logroño.
*The last day was raining so the V&A people sent us to install inside the tube instead of the Exhibition Road.
